Biography

subfive was formed in the spring of 1999 and has since toured extensively throughout Scandinavia, central Europe and Japan. The bands debut-CD, "City of dreams" was released in 2003 on the swedish label Lantern music and has recieved worldwide acclaim among critics and fusion aficionados alike, as well as extensive airplay in several countries. subfive's 2nd studio album, "Safari" was released in the fall of 2008 in conjunction with the bands 2nd tour of Japan and in Europe in the spring of 2009. The album was very well recieved and signifies a major step in the development of the bands sound.

The bandmembers are: Andreas Andersson - saxophones and EWI, Johan Öijen - guitars, Mats Byström - keyboards, Anders Pirinen - bass and Johan Löfcrantz-Ramsay - drums.
